A Rabbit's Life

Today we had our first funeral service at our home, celebrating life of Rabbit.

It has been a week Mei mei weeping on the loss of Rabbit. Interestingly, the last time we had photo with Rabbit was about 3 years ago at Cottlesloe Beach. We spent hours looking for Rabbit at the crowded beach with no avail. Mei mei was 3.5years old at that time and she witnessed the whole searching process. It seemed to be fine with Mei mei, she knew her best friend Rabbit is gone, and didn’t shed a tear. We went home and Mei mei spent the first night without Rabbit for the first time.

Fast forward 1 week ago, Mei mei started remembering about her Rabbit. She kept crying in the evening and unable to sleep on her own. We tried to replace Rabbit with a new bunny, however tonight Mei mei cried again!

Daddy had this brilliant idea. "Let's have a funeral service celebrating Rabbit’s life!” Mei mei stopped crying and listened attentively. BIM chipped in with her creativity, she made invitation letter, wrote the service script for Daddy (who is the Pastor for the service), and BIM played worship songs for the service. We shared our favourite moments with Rabbit, Mei mei recalled the last day she had with Rabbit at Cottlesloe Beach. We would never see Rabbit again but she will always be in our hearts.

Mummy is writing this story after the two girls went to bed. It will be a good night rest tonight. Goodbye Rabbit (31 December 2015 – 17 March 2019)

~ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4 ~

Dining experience at Paparazzi Mandurah

Welcome to Mandurah! Today we planned to have dinner at Paparazzi Restaurant.

Something new or qualcosa di nuovo in Italian :)

Let's do some coloring while waiting for the food.

 Yeah, pizza bambino for BIM!

Mei mei enjoyed her food too!

We shared the yummy lamb shank.

Mummy ordered a huge plate of seafood risotto,
however it has too much stock and too salty for her liking.

Oh well, Daddy finished whatever was left over and he was the most satisfed person of it all!

By the way, blessed birthday to our beloved daddy and we love you to the moon and back.

XOXO

Araluen Botanic Park - Tulip Mania!

Have you heard of the Tulip Mania? Apparently in 1635, a sale of 40 bulbs of tulips went on sale for $100,000 and the average income was approx $400/year in the Netherlands. Hence the bubble burst...

Nonetheless, we don't have to travel far to witness God's creation in splendor display and I assure you that it does not costs you an arm or leg...

Introducing Araleun Botonic Park - 30km south of Perth in Roleystone...

I think I am a tulip... wait.. maybe Cinderalla

Grandma loves tulips too

Castaway Sculpture by the Rockingham beach

Invasion of the jellyfish! Argh! :)

Avocado farm - without avocado??

My dear readers,

Today I have an interesting tale to tell you all where we went to Settler Plantation in Baldivis to grab apparently the best and cheapest avocados around... Unfortunately they were in such a great demand that they were all sold out so we will have to come back next weekend. Yup, the last bag of $3 avacados was bought by mummy's friend from Malaysia... So we took some pictures instead...

This is me helping to do "weeding" at the avo farm

Dandelions are too pretty to be a weed. Oh look my friend Batman is helping too
